An Unparalleled Journey Awaits   In A World So Exotic It Defies Imagination   Epic Life West Africa 2027 Herd of elephants on the plains in Africa
13-Day Ghana, Togo & Benin Tour with optional 4-Day Senegal Extension
EPIC LIFE WEST AFRICA
Tour Dates: August 6 – 18, 2027 (Senegal extension through August 22, 2027)

After over two years of careful and meticulous planning, Epic Life Outdoors is headed to West Africa for a trip that will exceed your wildest dreams and excite your intrepid spirit in ways that have become hallmarks of all that we do. Ghana, Togo, Benin, and Senegal — is next on the docket and promises to be our most Epic trip ever! Five-star accommodations, thoughtfully curated experiences, and the kind of journey that lets you tap into ancestral heritage and see West Africa in all of its splendor and breathtaking beauty.

We will start in Accra, spending time with FAIRAFRIC and their sustainable, community-led cocoa production, before settling into five-star comfort as we explore the city’s rhythm, flavor and Pan-African sensibilities. From there we will travel to Cape Coast and Elmina Castles to examine the violent and difficult histories of capture and enslavement that fundamentally altered the modern world. More than just a stop on the itinerary, this sacred experience of remembering and return will be soul-changing and conducted with the kind of care and dignity that it demands.

After the coast we will journey to Kakum Rainforest, to experience the Canopy Walkway and then continue to Togoville and Cotonou, where tradition and modern life converge in the streets. For those extending the journey, we close in Senegal — from the shores of Gorée Island, a place of deep ancestral significance, to the vibrant energy of Dakar, where art, music, and West African luxury come together.

This is a trip built for reflection as much as adventure, for connection as much as celebration. Spots are limited, so lock yours in soon.
